Rouge – Duo

Formed by Claire Overbury and Elena Zucchini, Rouge is a fiery and passionate flute and guitar duo specialising in South American and Spanish inspired repertoire. Claire and Elena both play with great sensitivity and emotion, finding common ground in this approach to music performance. Their core repertoire includes music by Piazzolla, Pujol and Granados and they enjoy performing exciting programmes to bring this lesser known repertoire to British audiences.

Rouge performs in venues throughout London and the UK and also perform as headline classical artists on Cunard and P&O cruise liners. They are always well received and enjoy getting to know their audiences.

As a versatile duo, they have also performed at corporate and entertainment events and were recently invited to play for the Queen’s Birthday Party at the British Consulate in Jerusalem. They are experienced in tailoring a programme to suit the occasion with traditional classical repertoire alongside the South American themed music and are happy to discuss individual requirements to provide the perfect concert or musical experience.
